I currently offer three dance-related containers:
SPINNING SPURS (weekly line dance night in Ventura, CA)
PRIVATE EVENTS & LESSONS (parties, weddings, workplace events, etc)
CHOREOGRAPHY & VIDEO/FILM CONSULTING (custom choreography, backup dancing, movement consulting)

I teach line dance lessons and DJ line dance requests every Tuesday 6:30-9 (except the 2nd Tuesday of the month) at Topa Topa Brewery, 104 E. Thompson Blvd, Ventura, Calif.
Beginner & improver lessons at 7; dance requests all night.
Line dance is an accessible, fun and low-pressure form of movement. SPINNING SPURS encourages participants and community members to express themselves through line dancing, regardless of prior experience. As a queer person, I am dedicated to celebrating the long legacy of queer people in western culture by creating dance spaces where all are welcome.
Line dance choreography is a language. Understanding the terminology of basic steps can be a huge help for beginners. Get in touch for step sheets and video tutorials for the dances I teach.

PRIVATE EVENTS & LESSONS
I love bringing people together to move in unison while forging community and having a blast on the dance floor! Line dancing is a great way to celebrate any occasion - I have hosted and taught line dancing at birthday parties, weddings, workplace team-building events, and conferences. I also love offering private lessons for smaller groups if learning in larger settings is not for you. Line dance is truly a special way to gather community in a joyous, lighthearted and low-pressure movement environment and I love sharing this ethos with students and clients.
